To support our continued growth, we are looking for a qualified and proactive Company Lawyer to lead our legal affairs.
Key Responsibilities.
- Providing expert legal advice on real estate transactions, land acquisition, leasing, and property development.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents including sale agreements, leases, MOUs, joint ventures, and service contracts.
- Conducting due diligence on property titles, zoning regulations, and compliance with land laws.
- Representing the company in legal proceedings and coordinating with regulatory agencies and external counsel.
- Managing litigation, dispute resolution, and enforcement of contractual obligations.
- Monitoring legislative changes in land law, property regulations, and commercial legal frameworks relevant to the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized institution.
- Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate.
- Prior experience in corporate or commercial law is an added advantage, though not mandatory.
- In-depth understanding of contract law, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Must be willing to commit to a two-year renewable contract.
